In September, we announced that an extraordinary Harry Potter™ experience is making its worldwide debut in Chicago—and that day is here! Potterheads can return to Hogwarts™ with Harry Potter™: Magic At Play, bringing whimsical surprises, interactive sets, and hands-on adventures to the Water Tower Place on the Magnificent Mile.

This unique journey to Hogwarts™ that opened on November 11th, isn’t just looking at props; it takes witches, wizards (and yes, even muggles!) into the world of Harry Potter™, where you can interact, explore, play, and climb your way through the Wizarding World™.

Warner Bros. Themed Entertainment and Original X Productions (The FRIENDS Experience, The Office Experience, and Prince: The Immersive Experience) produced this magical voyage, so you can be sure that no detail has been overlooked.

Guests will begin the experience on the doorstep of the Dursley residence on Privet Drive before venturing to the King’s Cross St. Pancras Station at Platform 9 ¾™, and then, of course, making their way to the Hogwarts Express™—all of which make incredible backdrops for epic photo ops.

Next, the expedition will take you to the Black Lake just like first-year students, and then you’ll finally arrive at Hogwarts™, where guests of all ages will enjoy a slew of stunning moments. A few highlights include stepping into the mystical Great Hall, strolling through the hallway of portraits (and stopping to peruse the art, of course), taking part in magical classes at Potions, Charms, and Divination, and playing iconic games like Quidditch™, and many more surprises.

Plus, a Harry Potter™ experience in Chicago wouldn’t be complete without sipping on delicious Butterbeer™ or scooping up exclusive themed merchandise that will also be accessible to the general public on the ground floor.
